The Bad Cad Zeus was an east side bruiser with a modified Chevy L88 engine. Originally owned by Gary Ellinger, this 4,300 lb behemoth with a Corvette ?Big Block? could cover a quarter mile in less than 12 seconds at speeds reaching 120mph.
One of my favorite cars in the Detroit area, this car has the perfect combonation of exterior styling, stance and powertrain that I'd love to have. The current owner, a friend of mine, has wanted to buy the car for over 20 years. He finally had the opportunity a few summers ago.
Back in the day, this car was one of the baddest three on the streets of Metro Detroit. The other two were a legendary Hemi-powered 1967 Plymouth GTX, known far and wide as the Silver Bullet and a 1961 Ford Galaxie Starliner called Orange Crush that roamed the north suburbs.
