I saw pictures of it in storage a few years ago but don't remember the web site.Great movie!Oh ya,one of my
fiends is in the back ground scene in the airport terminal.
Neat article. I've always loved that Bullitt Mustang and the bad guys' Charger. It's too bad the guy won't let anybody see it. That whole thing about letting his kid drive it when he got his license did not sound like a great idea to me, but whatever. I saw an article a while ago (think blazerteam posted it) about the surviving Charger being discovered.
It wasn't really a plan, but I did end up with the Bullitt set, although both of mine are silver, instead of green for the Mustang, and black for the Charger.
I bought a Bullitt T-shirt a little while ago at Target. It's pretty cool, with Steve on the front and the Mustang on the back. I've also been thinking about getting one of the '08 Mustang Bullitt's. Looks like a pretty fun car, and I think one more Detroit winter will finish off the Escort so it's time to start looking for a new daily driver.
That's a great article! Joe...I wonder what's wrong with Joe, with so many people only really wanting to just SEE that car. Come on, Joe. At least roll it out one time.
If I had all the money and nothing to do with it, I'd have a Mustang. A new one. In all of my travels, I always asked for a Mustang at the rental counter. Gosh, that is a fun car to drive. And so impractical, it was always great fun to rent one (when they had one) and then give it back. Y'all should heve seen me and two full-sized guys going to lunch one day - the third guy was folded up sideways in the back seat. But we looked and sounded good doing it. Fun stuff.
I must have already survived past "midlife," because if there was ever going to be a "crisis," there would be a white Mustang GT in the driveway with my name on the title.
Ahh, Bullitt. Aside from the chase scene it was one of the crappier movie plots i've followed in a while. of course, no one watches that movie for the plot ;)
You have to consider the day and time.......by today's standards
I'm sure the plot ain't much.......back in the 60's whole different story as
it won an Oscar
and back then we had CinemaColor
;D
