1965 A/FX Mustang

Saw this in the Summit display at Norwalk last weekend, and had to take a few pics. With a very cool injected 427 SOHC, it was called the "Batcar" and driven by Al Joniec.

one of those holman moody a/fx mustangs was street raced on the streets of brooklyn in the late 60s

Thanks for posting! Great to see detailed color pics of these old girls, you get to see a lot of things you missed in the small, old B&W pics of these cars from back in the day...Never knew that that car had silver flake over the black paint! Cheers

Yes!! This was one of my favorite race cars back when I was a kid... I loved all those longnose Mustang A/FXers.... One of my other favs was the Stone Woods Cook 66 Mustang, The Dark Horse....
