This is the ride Bruce (55lincoln) and Joan are touring in. Maybe I've been in a cave all of my life, but I've never seen one of these before, a 2000 convertible Trans AM. Never saw one until this one.

We had a great visit at GHI with Jim and Mary as always and with Bruce and Joan on their grand adventure. That's the first time we've had the opportunity to meet Bruce and Joan, they came a long way down here to enjoy the Gear Head Inn and all of the roads and attractions around it.

We had a great leisurely drive on the Dragon, maybe it's best to do that on a weekday when not EVERYBODY is up there racing like a fool. There were quite a few people up there running it but everybody stayed in their own lane. A few crotch rocket racers, with their mentality they can have their tires barely at the double yellow, so in their mind, they're obeying the "rules," but they are leaned over so hard in the curves that their heads are in the other lane. Brilliant, just brilliant logic.

I still don't know how to post up a video on YouTube, But I've found a clue. More later, maybe film at eleven one of these days.

Something that stood out to me on that run through the Dragon - there it is, that's where those two young men got killed in some kind of a skateboard rice racer a few weeks ago. That has to be it, all of the memorabilia on the tree is still fresh, and it matches the brief media description. Tree, plunge down 150 feet, and you can see the skid marks leading up to the tree. Running the Dragon at night for some kind of thrill, that was their last thrill of all...

I only got him lost once we finished with the Cherohala Skyway tomorrow starting home on the Blue Ridge parkway with a stop at the Gearhead Diner haven;t seen Victor & Terry since 07 or 08 Power Tour
