Lost another one today. Years ago I had met someone who worked on SNL. He said Don was one of the nicest, most polite and very professional persons he had met.

Never watched anything he was doing TV or movie where I wasn't rolling in the floor laughing. He was part of a whole generation of hilarious comedians that will never be duplicated. Thanks for the memories Don!! RIP.Pt 2010, Long Haul 2011,12,13,14,15,16,17, 18, 19, 23

I never liked his form of humor at all. Didn't like the 3 Stooges either. Sorry, my brain has never worked that way. I have no clue what the man behind the persona was like - he never showed us that man.
Still, I send condolences for those who loved him.

Loved his jokes!
I was a boy for the last of mafia and carburators.
I made fun all the time.
it really is funny.
I still remember one who gave me a huge tip for delivering the newspaper. I wondered why he did that.
my grandma said "he sees you climbing waltham street after you deliver his paper."
I then deciphered the odd italian heart that gets angry.
RIP Rickles. He was annoying, but fun.
his whole routine for life, stemmed form an audience that made fun of him.
..and they kept laughing the way he responded.
