They used to do that at Raceway Park in Shakopee MN as a part of the regular Sunday night racing program. Back in the '80's, I ran in it with a beat up 455 powered '70 Riviera boat tail. It was a pile of fun! I had to fill the right tires to about 45 psi so they wouldn't roll over, but that made it pretty tricky to get off the line with the open rear end. Sycamore Speedway in Sycamore IL still had them last I was there couple of years ago. I raced at that track, but never in the one on ones. Fun to watch.Comment
