  • Suspension parts for 2001 T/A

I need 2 rear suspension jounce bumpers. They are GM P/N 10282449 but are discontinued. I haven't been able to find them anywhere. HELP!!!!

I got this from my parts guy that works at a GM dealer:

"That part number was discontinued on March 1st of 2007. Nobody in the country has them in their gm inventory. No vintage stock available either. That one is a gonner."

    Was hoping for better news.

Have you tried any of the third party stuff mentioned on the LS boards?

I would look at energy suspension; not stock, but they should have a suitable replacement...

They are under the heading of Bushings. They seem pretty proud of them at $56 a piece .

They should. Since you can swap axles between 3rd and 4th gens.

the only difference i can think of is, how thick they are, too make sure you dont chew up taller tires? no reason you couldnt add a few washers behind them IMO. i measured these bumpstops, they're 2 1/2" thick from top to bottom.

                        Some interesting info:

Hi, Looking for some rear bump stops. I took my rear wheel off yesterday and found the bump stop was half gone. It is crumbling apart. Looking to see
