This is the only event where NMRA racers compete with NMCA racers for the Nitto Tire Diamond Tree rings and huge bragging rights! The 11th Annual Nitto Tire NMRA/NMCA Super Bowl of Street Legal Drag Racing at Route 66 Raceway on the weekend of July 28-31 brings some of the most exciting side-by-side drag racing action in the country. This year, Daddy Dave and BoostedGT, from Discovery’s hit reality TV show Street Outlaws, will be on hand to meet and greet the fans. Also, the weekend includes the Hot Rodders of Tomorrow Engine Challenge competing on the huge manufacturers’ midway, a giant car show, swap meet, burnout contest and more!
The NMRA Keystone Automotive Ford Nationals drag racing series showcases some of the fastest Fords on the planet with screaming fast, 3,000+ horsepower VP Racing Fuels Street Outlaws and wild, wheel-standing Edelbrock Renegades topping the charts at close to 200mph in the quarter-mile. Everything from 2016 Ecoboost-powered Mustangs to Cobra Jets and Shelby GT500s race down the drag strip in close battles for the win light. TheNMCA Muscle Car Nationals presented by E3 Spark Plugs brings Chevys, Fords and Mopars in classes like the high-horsepower, alcohol-burning VP Racing Fuels Xtreme Pro Mod, small-tire, super quick Mickey Thompson Radial Wars and two new NMCA heads up categories: Dart Machinery Pro Stock and Holley EFI Factory Super Cars. Daddy Dave and his ’63 nitrous-equipped Chevy II Nova called “Goliath 2.0” will be on hand all weekend to sign autographs and take photos with fans. On Saturday, Chris “BoostedGT” Hamilton will be hanging out with his ’03 turbocharged Ford Mustang SVT Cobra to shake hands and sign autographs.
