    You guys constantly amaze me with your supreme ignorance of history... no gasser list would be complete with mentioning Ohio George's '33 Willys gasser. And you totally left out the Stone, Woods, and Cook gasser. You guys are MORONS! The gasser wars were basically fought in the magazines over SWC and Mazmanian by the camshaft companies.

    The Opel has NO PLACE on this list - most guys barely remember it.
    George Montgomery's first blue Malco Mustang was the car that broke the gasser mold and heralded the death of the class - with gassers ending up more of a gas-powered funny car class. The red turbo Stang was just a continuation of that death.

      Hey, Stude... go back and re-read the article. The first car they mentioned was the Stone, Woods & Cook car and the '33 Willys of Ohio George was mentioned also (in the blurb about his Malco Mustang).


      I thought it was a great article.
