Saw that happen about 30 years ago at Wichita International Raceway. The rockets just kept popping the burner and pretty soon the whole burnout box just lifted up and blew into a million pieces. The crew and a couple racers got shovels and brooms and spent about an hour cleaning out the holes before racing continued. The rockets did not return for the 2nd pass. Of course, with 3 engines.... Shockwave did a lot more damage. Wonder if he got paid....
