    Asking for your thoughts and prayers

    It's a sad day here at the Boeing Co.

    We just recieved confirmation that 3 Boeing employees are among the dead on Turkish Airlines Flight 1951. One more is in the hospital and is expected to recover. The 737-800 crashed on approach to Amsterdam. They were engineers for our Integrated Defense Systems group supporting the Pace Eagle Airborne Early Warning and Control (AWACS)aircraft in Turkey.

                  Thanks guys. The crash was on the 25th, we just received confirmation today via our internal web.

                                  Dan, a loss for your company and a loss for this country as those people were working to keep us safe. I'm honestly not much the praying type, but I will say that I talk to my little guy about heros and people to admire every day. These people will be in the next conversation.

                                              I send Greatest Positive Energy and ME will send prayers - maybe the same thing. Best to the family and to the survivor - that's no walk in the park, either.
