    Anybody into 2.2 ecotecs?

After swapping engines in a saturn wagon with a 2.2 cavalier complete engine - we have a lot of engine parts left over.

intake, exhaust, valve cover, coil pack, head, block, crank rods, pistons, oil pan etc etc etc.

Does anybody have any interest in this stuff?

Craigslist and ebay have not garnered any sales - I hate to scrap it if it could help somebody out.

Got a spare turbo and manifolds? We have a 2.2 in the HHR but it's new and needs no parts (so far, so good). But I'd love to turbo it - even ME admits that it needs more poop when going over mountains. Probably take a pass on your generous offer, though.

You could melt it down and make pistons for the 428CJ ;)

speaking of which - where are those pictures?

I need another engine stand - then we can do the same thing to the 292 and I can bring them both in for hot tanking.

Parts for Eco engines are easy to come by... I have two of them in my garage.

DanStokes, you can take a Saab exhaust manifold (and even the turbo that comes with it) and turn yours into a turbo Eco with less hassle than the usual turbo setup.

heck, get the ECU that comes with it... might be REALLY easy?

this is kinda like when everyone in the family knows it's time to take the keys away from Grandpa, but is afraid to bring it up.

Boost is the best compliment to displacement. You will always run the biggest engine you can within the rules or limits of the block...
