Cool pics thanks. Makes me kind of sad though to see them all rusty.

Looks like with a little careful parts swapping you could make several nice cars. The white Ranchero looks pretty decent - any car that doesn't need quarters looks pretty good to me. Nice score.

is it wrong that i think a 74 ranchero painted like the starsky and hutch car with ansen sprints on it would be awesome?

Oddly enough, there was a 76? Ranchero GT done up like it. Sort of odd looking.

I had a '74 Q code ranchero I picked up last summer...Q code is the 4 barrel headed 4 bolt main 351 cleveland setup.
She was pretty clean, minor rust, I was thinking myself, a late model crown vic frame in theory fits under the 70's Torino/ ranchero body shell...step on over to www.karkraft.com and run a dual quad 5.4 with a t56 6 speed.

I'm scanning through some old pics right now, but I may have seen that white Ranchero in it's better days (circa '88)!

There will always be a place in my heart for the '72-'76 Torino, and I can't rule out ever owning another one.
Just groovin' to my own tune.

Ranchero's will always be cool to me - in all generations - my buddy's mom had one with a 460 I think - it was early 70's vintage - like the S&H cars.... that's one of those I'll always have in my mind - what could have been.

He pulled the engine and it sat in the garage for years - I don't know what ever happened to it.
There's always something new to learn.
