I finally scanned some of my old truck pics, thought some of you guys could relate.
These were mostly from my late teens and early 20's. Ah, the days of being broke and trying to keep stuff running for nothing! These were trucks I wasn't afraid to use!
First vehicle at 15, f100 2wd 351W, $1100

Bought this jem off my neighbor for $700.... Full of rust, and a worn body mount that let the cab lift when you pushed the clutch. Did I mention the rod that was beating the crank into submission? But it looked cool with its 15x10's and 33's with 3" body lift.....

This was my first big money pit, started with a running $1000 truck. New floors, rockers, cab corners, bed, fenders, inner fenders, paint, front driveshaft, fresh 350, new 3.73 gears, headers and 2.5 duals and that's just the big stuff...... Sold it for 3000 grand.

My '95. $13,500. Good running truck with small comp cam 5sp 3.73 gears. If it had been a vortec truck I never would have sold it.

My Dad's first truck, '86 2wd 3/4 ton. $1000. I stuck a loc-right in this 4sp pig to try and keep from getting stuck on wet grass. Didn't help much. Had a broken ring on #5 and would suck a quart of oil every 300 miles.

This seemed like a good deal! 88 six lug 2500. $1500. I patched it up for Dad and everything seemed great till the tranny took a dump after only 600miles of ownership. You just can never tell.

I put these two trucks together for the father in-law.
The F150 was inline six shooter. I scored some later model chrome wheels and a set of 31's. Little paint and it looked much better.

This was a farm truck rescue.... the in-law didn't want to spend a dime more than he had to..... the box was held together with the liner and I used up a spool of mig wire patching holes.
'80 3/4 ton 4x4, $750. 350, np205, 14 bolt full floater with 4.10's. This truck was a stout piece of crap! Too bad the vintage 160hp '79 350 we stuck in there ran so good we didn't want to mess with anything!

That's most of the old junk I've got pics of!
And if we're going back a few days..... Here's a pic of my best friend in high school getting a ticket in his '72 Chevelle after doing a big burnout in front of my house. In those days we'd be lucky if one cop went past the house all week!! He never did have any luck with the police! His licence was so fresh, it was just his stamped learners permit! Ah, the smell of fresh roasted N-50-15's!
