Are Krass and Bernie gay?

I've been reading that cartoon since CARtoons magazine. They never seem to have girlfriends, Bernie has that moustache, sleep in the same room, and in the March Car Craft I notice Krass shifts a 4 speed with his pinkie sticking out.
I sure wish the drag strips around here would open.

I think the pinkie thing is ala 'Ratfink'.

I tried to think of something witty to say, but yup, they are the 'Bert & Ernie" of the gearhead cartoon set.

I've been a loyal K&B fan since the 80's when they were in CARtoons mag. In fact, that was the only comic book I cared about growing up.

GAY? Blasphemy! At the end of the comic strip they both usually end up with a girl (often twins just seem to appear out of nowhere...) AND a cool car. So no, I don't think they're gay.

As I remember , there's been plenty of "chicks" in the strip over the years......but it's like asking whether James taylor's and the late Dennis Wilson's character's in 2LBT were bi.....some things just ain't meant to be questioned.

Krass and Bernie are just flat COOL........only "flames" around them are the ones belching from the headers.
