My friend is the original owner of an ls6. bought it when he came out of the marines. bench seat 4 speed. it was gold with black stripes, but it's all black now. has slotted mags on it too! has just under 30,000 miles on it. said the best he turned was a 11.73@121. with a cam,intake and headers.Comment

Sorry about not posting the engine pix, wanted to see who was paying attention ;D
Original 1 family owned LS6 4sp. They pulled the original eingine and trans and built an L88 headed 454 with a Richmond 6 sp and a 9" with 411's and a tracklok.

He's got all the original parts. The 12 bolt is blown, trans too!
They claim 600hp/550tq. I drove it a very short distance on Sunday, didn't get out of second gear. Who ever put the TT2's on it really screwed up. The axle stubs are 3" dia. the center bore of the wheels was 2 3/4"dia. :P Felt like the rear was walking around. Both rears were wobbling like a clown car. Sent the wheels to the machine shop, they said they aren't bent, going to open up the bores.
He wants me to put some miles on it after the wheels get back 8)
