name of the turbo company escapes me - but they were out of Las Vegas. A guy on Drag Week ran a modded version of that system a few years ago... it's pretty interesting, it bypasses the carburetor when it's not in boost. But it's an old system no longer made.

Hey Ed
The car belongs to Paul Wynan (SP) and I think he lives in Independence, MO. He has Long Hauled on every Power Tour. He also worked for Hot Rod magazine. It is very interesting to sit down and visit with him because he has been into hot rodding from way back in the day.

Yep, I saw the car in Lincoln this year. He wasn't around, but I spoke with the young fella driving for him. What a great story! Maybe I should PM DF......
Thx.

I recognize that car and I agree it is Paul's, I recognize Firebird fender vents on the Camaro. My daughter and I hung out with Paul in Columbia in 2006 and he helped me with a few mechanical issues on the way to Roanoake the following day. Great guy with plenty of cool stories.
I knew you guys could figure it out. I'm pretty certain it's an Accel Turbo-Sonic. I'm also glad to get Paul's name. He doesn't live too far from me, so I might catch him out cruisin' this season, as well as on the PT.
Thx,
Ed.
