    Wife's helpful suggestion....

After busting my ass for 25 years raising kids, 2 will be done with college in 3 months. That leaves only one, she has two years to go. My job seems stable, I have a little money in the bank, I want to start building a hot rod. I have a 93 Chevy short bed, with a few mods, but I'd like to keep it for towing a trailer, I'd like to build something street and strip. I'm thinking a two wheel drive S10 Blazer with a built small block. My wife's suggestion..."Why don't you just put one of those Hemi things on your trucks engine you already have?" God bless her, she tries.

Not a bad suggestion. May I suggest the tall one with the big scoop?
    Editor-at-Large at...well, here, of course!

Granted her technical knowledge is a bit lacking, but that was REALLY sweet of her. She's really saying she loves you and wants you to have what you REALLY want this time instead of settling. I agree - keep her.

          That rules!

And, makes me appreciate Daphne more because although we are too poor to do any projects right now, she would say the same thing. Actually, not, because she knows what a Hemi is.

          You should definitely keep her.

Keep Her and let Her Help put it in.

My Wife told me to build a Race Car ,Cause if we save to do it , it will never get built. There's not alot of them so keep them if you got them.

I guess you had to be there. What I heard was" Don't be spending any money when you already have all that junk laying around"

My wife is pretty much the same. When I try to explain why/how I'm doing something, she gets a blank look on her face and says "whatever makes you happy". ;D
