I'm always on the lookout for something interesting to buy, and have found networking to be a big asset. That's a bunch of other people with similar interests to be my "eyes" in their areas. Anyway, I usually give a "finders" fee of sorts as a thank you for your efforts. Anywhere from $100 to $500. Last year, a buddy came through 4 times for the maximum. If you've seen some of my other posts, you'll see I'm very diverse in my interests. I'm looking for good old fashioned, "word of mouth" deals. Hidden treasures. NOT something in the paper, or on-line that I can see for myself. Please don't contact me with everything in your area with a For Sale sign on it. Most here have seen some of my cars, and should have a good idea what I like, right?
PLEASE---
1-it has to be reasonable distance from San Fernando Valley for me to eventually see in person
2-you have to have seen it yourself, and give an accurate account of what it is before contacting me (I'm not gonna hand out money like sticks of gum for those too lazy to earn it)
3-I prefer GM stuff, but will entertain other makes
4-mid 60's or older with some exceptions (I like early Monte Carlos for example)
5-Fairly clean stuff-absolutely no major projects or neglected corpses
6-2 door hardtops with some exceptions(must be very interesting like my white 60 Pontiac shown elsewhere)
