    New Hot Rod Mag

Anyone get theirs yet? There is a 1st gen Camaro in there with a Toyota motor
in it. Thank God DF is going back there (to bad hes left here) .Im not an old guy
and I guess I can accept new things-a little, but with the multitude of American power plants
why would this guy do this.It says its got 1,000HP but I dont care,I would have been more impressed with
    a 250 with a turbo and a 1,000 HP.

I couldn't bring myself to open mine, I sealed it in a Mayonaise Jar and buried it in the back yard!

if its a turbo 2jz i-6 toyota motor, I would read it. that is a true hotrodders motor, it just happens to be jap made. they can make close to 1000hp with stock internals. show me an american made motor from the 90's that can do that. I thought of putting one in my camaro as well

agreed, some of these guys need to open up their minds a bit.

there's no LS, modular, or any domestic car or truck engine that can support the kind of power on stock pistons and rods that a 2JZ can, and you can get them from importers for $1000-1500 all day long. Who cares that it's a toyota, it's a badass hotrod motor...

sure, I know that, but the cool part is - you don't have to swap broken valvetrain parts on the 2JZ every weekend you want to take it out

Don't care, it's still a violation. Putting flame suit on 'cause I know you and DG are going to, well you know.
