    SOAPY SALES

OK who here remembers Larry Huff? He got into some trouble some years after running a Pro Stock Dart Sport and AA/FC entries, do you drag fans on here know what the situation was?

Larry's old 1973 Challenger Pro Stocker is sitting less than a mile from where I am right now.
It's really no different than trying to glue them back on after she has her way.

Mope you're gonna need to educate me I think.

I know Larry was involved with Fremont and OCIR for short stints in a promoter's role, but I'm not sure what touble he got himself into.

It couldn't have been too bad because he and Rich Guasco partnered up on the Pure Hell AA/FA in the early 1990's if my memory is right.

"Soapy Sales" turned out to be a major scam, a very large pyramid scheme, it finally caught up with him, a guy I know saw him at the airport when he finally got sentenced, he was on the way to prison. That was in the 1980s, and I recently heard about this while researching an old AA/FA car.
