Re: World of Wheels
I go every year when it comes to KC. Usually on Friday (early) before the crowds. Don't know if it's coming this year or not, haven't heard a word about it yet.

Feb 27-Mar 1 here in KC. Sounds like a good excuse for some of the local junkies to meet up!Originally posted by oletrux4evrI go every year when it comes to KC. Usually on Friday (early) before the crowds. Don't know if it's coming this year or not, haven't heard a word about it yet.

Re: World of Wheels
I was considering going to the one in Pittsburgh, I've went to the last few, but I'm still not sure. I swore after last year that I wouldn't go back given the amount that they charge to look at cars that I have a hard time relating to, but then again I said the same thing 2 years ago and I still went back... :

Re: World of Wheels
We will probably go to the one in KC. We will most likely go on Sat and have to deal with the crowds.

Haven't been to one in several years..may go this year just to see if there's anything different other than the venue.
That, and the kids will dig it.Comment

Re: World of Wheels
Saw the one here in Boston a little while back... made the mistake of going on Sat afternoon; crowds were a PITA. Wanted to meet Chip Foose during the autograph session, but the line was 150 yds long. I don't do lines.
Some cool stuff for all tastes, and some cool local stuff.

It's the Autorama here in Detroit. I go every year. They use to have a for sale section that I use to look forward to but the last few years they ran it everyone had the Barret jackson syndrome.Comment

I'll be there too, probably Sat early evening. Did get an email from Diane Sox (we do busines with her) and she will be there selling raffle tickets for the Indy Clyinder Head HEMI she is raffling off, for the Ronnie Sox Foundation. We're to have lunch together Friday. Also attended the Chicago WOW as was in that town that weekend. Gotta get the winter fix somehow...i'm going to the one in Minneapolis / St Paul this weekend mainly because i'll be in town anywaysComment

Re: World of Wheels
Made the mistake of going again last year here in GB. As far as I know, it is not returning here. Not a real heartbreak considering the admission charge. I can avoid parking as I live only 5 blocks from the arena/stadium.Hauling ass & sucking gas are the best uses for a truck.Comment
