Ice racing track day at the arctic..hehe.Never been done before.

Okay.Those that dont know where i live.I live in the middle of norway in Scandinavia.We have a big racetrack here.Arctic Circle raceway.



In teh last weeks there have been big machinery,plowing the track.The 14 february,there will be a track day,with lots of cars.i will use my chevelle of course.I have been looking for new studded tires the last days.Will probably go for Hakkapelitta 5 in 225x70x15 or 17 inch wheels and 225x60x17.

I was up there today taking some photos.There are probably only 25 inches of snow.There have never been so little snow since the track was built almost 20 years ago.Usually there are around 7-10 feet 8).



















This will be so coooool ;D.

And DF.Now when you have a job and all.Come over.You can drive the chevelle all that you want ;D.

WTF do you mean, "only 25 of snow"?! Good god, man, I'm from a heavy-snow state and that's still freakin' unreal! Would they leave the plowed snow right there on the side of the road?

...hmm...that'd be funny as all hell...car skids out of control, leaves a Looney Tunes impression in the snow.

The plowed snow,are actually a little hard to touch.It will get nasty to some of the newer cars,if they touch it.Plastic everywhere ;D.Im a little scared about the fact that we can get decent speeds up there,and accidents will hurt to everyone involved.

25 inches of snow is just a little colour on mother earth.We are talking big when it gets up to 10 feet ;D.

The track are around 200 meters over water,so when the weather gets tough,its unreal.

That's one hell of an ice-racing track for sure. We have some about 3 hours outside of Toronto, and also in Quebec, but nothing like that!!

Its just my pleasure to show all you folks what we are doin over here ;).Arctic hot roddin style ;D.Maybe i can talk the owner of the 34 Ford Sedan Delivery into this too.Wouldnt that have been cool or what???.34 Ford ice racing ;D.

My best time on the track in the summer with the chevelle,has been 1,58..
