Hey I just noticed Teddyzee is from Nova Scotia. Me too. Any other Maritimers out there? Where in Nova Scotia Teddyzee?

Orig from Dartmouth but now live in Ottawa. Probably return some day -- a Bluenoser's always gotta come home. My wife's family are still all down east Whenever I'm there on business I bring back a care package of Brothers Honey Mustard Pepperoni. Right some good, eh!

One of the things thats always been a concern when I think of possibly going back is the very small number of drag strips in the Maritime provinces and extremely short season. Although I hear there's a great car scene in Moncton now and Mirimichi Dragway has a lot going on. And with the plans for ex-Loring AFB in Limestone across the border, that has interesting possibilities.

Is there ANY drag racing in NS?

dad now lives in bathurst NB since retiring...diff vibe in the maritimes thats for sure...yawn...

Hey, ref your post on scrapyards and old cars disappearing in ON, who do you deal with around Ottawa?

Spirak's in Greely have tons of old stuff. I got a manual steering box from an S-10 for the El Camino from them -- $50. Half the price the fellows from Pembroke wanted.

last time i needed a man steering box..i went ordered it just north of montreal...they deliverd it at work $125 ...

What shop did you order from? I'm familiar with most local shops but I'm on the hunt for more speed shops.

there are only four or five REAL speedshops in the greater MTL area...all with extreme loyalties..i'll leave it at that.. :-X

Unfortunaltely, many of my purchases are mail-order. I attempt to buy locally, but pricing is sometimes out of hand. I can't justify $500 for a clutch for a basically stock 5.0!

You must know of the Garrett Mason band from up NS way. That kid is awesome. He played down in Boston for the tree lighting ceremony and tore it up. I've gotten a bunch of his songs from iTunes.

Just wondering if you'd heard of him.

Yes, he's good. His father was a legend here, Dutchie Mason.
