I found a link to a bunch of recipes of commercial food. I saw Orange Julius, and thought of the people here who have never had one. It was in PDF format, so I couldn't c/p, so I hand wrote it down and now I'm typing it for you to try. Enjoy:
Orange Julius
6 oz orange juice, from frozen concentrate, unprepared
1 cup milk, low fat okay
1 cup water
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
8 ice cubes
Combine all ingredients, except ice cubes, in blender.
Blend 1-2 minutes , adding ice cubes, one at a time, until smooth.
Those of you who DO have an orange julius nearby... maybe you could make this version and give us a report as to how close to the real thing this one comes.
