Yep, it's been awhile since I've been pulled over for speeding, but I got pulled over by Ohio's finest today. I was making a run back from Columbus and got popped for an 82 in a 65. I was actually going faster, but saw the cop and tried to slow down before I got tagged. Thank God I was in uniform! After the state trooper chewed on my ass a little about recruiters speeding on her interstate, she let me go with a warning. Guess today was my lucky day! :D

What a coincidence, I got pulled over two weeks ago by the CHP for doing 84 in a 65 in a rental car. It's my first speeding ticket since 1993. The thing that sucks is in 1994 I got my commercial license and with one of those I can't go to traffic school to keep it of my driving record.

I haven't been pulled over in a long time(knock on wood), but last Friday I got stopped by a parent at my kids school who is a Sheriff, and was told the day before that he got stopped by like 4 people saying that I was going down this main street on the way to my kids school at a high rate of speed(I wouldn't call 10 over high rate). Funny thing is he tells me he's giving me a heads up and that he doesn't give out speeding tickets and tells me he really doesn't care what I do. Basically he was just telling me that people were complaining. Anyway after him informing me of this, I told him thanks for the heads up, we did the old fist bump and I was on my way.

There must be something to that uniform - I think you're the only person I've ever heard of getting let go with a warning over 80 in the buckeye state - I lived there for 5 years and never got off!
