Was cleaning the garage , and found my dyno sheets for my big block. It will give you guys something to laugh at. I think swapping the strip dominator for a dart intake would have helped. we made 7 pulls, we only printed the first and last.
any suggestions would be appreciated.

thanks Steve, I'm still curious about bigger heads and a better intake.

When I saw "Dyno Resluts" I was hoping to see scantily dressed women of questionable morals modelling on the chassis dyno.

I'm such a Pre-Vert that I didn't think anything was amiss! But I did miss the pics.

I used to be a post-vert, but I caught up and passed the pack, so now I'm a Pre-vert.

but are you a professional pre-vert,or do you still have your ameture statis, if so you can go to the pre-vert olympics.
i was hoping frieburger would tell me his opinion on intake choices. and what should the bfsc be ? iI dont like stagger jetting, but that is what we had to do by the egts.

I knew a pre-vert once..........he had a pornographic memory........... :o

On the serious side.......I also like the way the print out reads... much different
than the ones we're used to in our part of the country.

Yeah the sheet does not show the fuel curve to see how good the carb works

I had a "prepped" 950 hp on for the first pulls, but could not get it lean enuff. we put on a new 950 hp ulta and picked up 22 hp. so much for the local carb guru.
this was the first time I had an engine dynoed. I was gonna try my dart intake but it fit under the hood . so what fuel curve info should I have?
a bfsc gragh or fuel flow ?

There should be a number that should stay around 48, 49, 50 for the most HP and follow the curve as the engine is loaded and run up, Now I know the "Dyno guys" will also say this not always true and its not always right but down low they might vary some. The local guy may have needed some different air bleeds, I suggest Patrick at ProSystems or for 4150s The Quick Fuel 950 is dead on out of the box and I have never had one work better (Cheap too)

thanks Jeff, I did ask Andy (his dyno) about the fuel curve graphs . he says it should be on his hard drive, and he will send it to me when he gets a chance.

It may look trick but it does nothing to speed up air like a secondary venturey (SP) does.

and it was dead fat, we couldnt get it to go lean.

Of the 4150 style I am a huge fan of the Quick Fuel ones, right on right out of the box. I dont think for the money you can find a better carb.
