Ah there is all sorts of stuff in H-town, you just gotta know where to look.
It's been years since i was there but there was a cool junkyard (camaro county ) just outside beltway
8 on the NE side.
As well as in some of the seethy junkyards down by airline dr. I once forund a TR8 complete with the little 3.5lv8 for like 600.
