2008 Coverage

Guys,

It saddens me to make this decision, but for several reasons (none of them having to do with the awesome attendees, organizers, and friends I've met at the event) I have decided to not attend Drag Week this year.

It's gonna be real tough to watch from the internet this year, the past 3 years live coverage that I did was the most grueling work, and yet most rewarding work that I have EVER done within my website!

I hope that someone will provide daily coverage, because I will be watching for it!

I wish everyone luck, and I hope to make it next year!

That really DOES suck DF, I was looking forward to seeing you and Chad at the event. I suppose the suits don't want you to steal Drag Week's thunder in the mag by publishing it first on Car Junkie.

There is only one thing to do: Start up a competing event! Drag Days? One Lap of California? I'll bet Bill Fowler and Brian Rock would love that one...

Its obvious who the true supporter of us Hot Rod/ Car Junkies is... I think DF carried HR to the level he did due to his "TRUE" love of hot rodding, he's not just a guy writing stories and taking pictures, he is a real car guy, I think that has been made clear to me by watching him and Chad's fascination with FIRE!! I will wear my CarJunkieTV.com shirt proudly!
