Here are a coulple of pics of the car Rob Kinnan piloted in the MSD True Street Category at the 2007 NMCA/NMRA Super Bowl of Street Legal Drag Racing at Route 66 Raceway in Joliet, Illinois. Rob would have nothing to do with posing with the car, so we found this nice young lady to make the photos more interesting. Oh... by the way, Rob ran the car out of gas before completing all three passes and disqualified himself. I guess when you have such distractions, you tend to forget about the trivial stuff... like gasoline!

I was a little let down that all this cool car did was sit in his garage looking pretty and never got driven. Instead Audi paid big bucks to have their cars speed all over the silver screen.
bigger disappointment - the cobra got crushed. i'm sure it was a kit car, but the fact that it was bent, not shattered, shows it was ment to represent a real one.


Yep, my friend screamed like a little girl when the Cobra got squashed. It was nothing more than a pretty shell.

I just found out the duece roadster actually belongs to the movie's director, Jon Favreau. It's his baby, and the reason it didn't budge with Robert Downey Jr at the wheel. Jon was definitely not in favor of Robert taking the engine apart in the movie either. If you listen closely to the movie; you can here him scream off camera with Robert yanks the head off. :D

let's be honest. everyone wants to steal that brand new, off the showroom floor, Viper out on the street and immediatly put the pedal to the metal till it breaks. but common sense says "wait till it's broke in, a little more mature and it's at the track". jail and broken parts are way expensive.
