This is the spot to keep us up to date on all the hottest project cars going on nationwide. Once CarJunkieTV goes live, we'll have a page just for updates on cars being built by all sorts of builders. If you want yours included, hook us up here or send us a PM.

This is also where we'll share all our wacky plans for the 40-plus cars that Chad and I have in stock. You can tell us what you want to see most, or let us know that we're out of our minds. Once we get home from SEMA we'll start a new string for discussion of each one of our active projects.

Let 'er rip.

Better be some Mopars in the mix!

DUDE! The Deora replica is SO COOL. We'd love to be on that. I'll try to remember to get back with you once we're ready for content.

As for MOPARS, yep. I have a '70 Super Bee, a '71 Duster 340, a bunch of parts Dusters, a '65 Sweptline, a '74 Cuda, and some other junk. I'm sure it will all show up here once in a while.

We're building lots of stuff so we'll cover all of the brands for sure. No worries Ford, Chevy or Mopar fans. Hell if you have an idea for a bitchin' AMC, we may be all over it. Send us your requests, and we'll get out the Auto Trader and see what we can find. Our problem is that cars are like a crack habit for us, and we've got more projects going in our head than you can imagine. We'll start rocking on a couple of CarJunkieTV official vehicles soon and let you check out the fleet regularly. Rusty has a new home!!!! Can you believe it? We still have cool things to do to "the van", DF's sub, and who knows what else before the new year, but we want to hear about the projects you have going or want to see as well. Bring it on!!!

I would definitely like to see many more CHEAP/NON "Show car" types of cars (since not everyone can afford classic muscle cars or shiney boosted show cars). Big, ugly, heavy Sleepers that are different, unique or hall A$$ would be GREAT ! ;D

Love to see a detailed look at a 5.9L magnum or Hemi install in an Abody. Never see anyone get into the wiring/electrical parts of it. Using the factory computer and mating it to the dash or after market gauges.

Sounds good. Also sounds like my fixing the C4 in the Falcon and posting the details doesn't exactly rate ;D

Is the real Deora still around? I vaguely recall seeing it at a car show in the mid 70's.

The original Deora I believe is in the Peterson Museum in the Hot Wheels section.

Only car people would love an article on "TFI: Merkel - How I lost second gear in the final with a Wally on the line and what I did to fix it". (TFI - Transmission Failure Investigation)

From what I've been told (by no other than Mr. Mike Alexander) the Deora has recently been sold to a party in Reno Nevada, for $385,000.

I would like to see more low buck stuff. All my stuff is low buck however since that all the bucks I have!

I think that the low buck and how brewed stuff is much more fun and better recieved than the cars that were chequebook rods.

I'm building a somewhat "Lakes Modified" from the frame /body ect, ect.
I don't know if this would be the right site to show progress(it'll be slow).
I'll be narrowing a 56 Ford 1/2 ton front end(all ready has disc's),Toyota 22R/5 speed,Ford 8".
Have pictures at photo bucket, just don't know how to post here.

Fred, go to your PhotoBucket Account. See those 4 lines of text under each photo? Copy the last line in the box next to "IMG Code"

then PASTE that line in your post on the site and your photo will show up.

Make sure you have select the option on size as "Message Board" so the photo will show up perfect on the screen and not too big where folks will have to scroll back and forth. This option is located right above the first word "Browse".

If you need more help, please feel free to PM me. If the powers that be think that more folks could use photo posting help, I could do a whole thread on it if folks would like.

Post the dang thing Denise... I just learned this morning how to do that poorly... love to see it done correctly...

true that. i also really dig the owner built stuff...the struggles of figuring it out yourself, with limited tool selection.

This is the spot to keep us up to date on all the hottest project cars going on nationwide.

And what about 'across the pond-nationwide Project Cars' ? ;) The Netherlands, Europe to be precise...
I'll show a view pics of my ongoing 'fairly lowbuck and a lot of elbowgrease' Chrysler-project cars in the forum here soon.

Being somewhat limited in space and funds ::) ;D I'm doing my projects one at a time ofcourse, but I've started on a couple allready.

Soms sneaks...
- 1960 Chrysler New Yorker, receives a 496" stroker with Edelbrock heads and LongRam-intakes, and will get a slight custom touch. This is my current project car.
- 1962 Chrysler New Yorker stationwagon, one of 728 build, will receive a 392 Hemi with dual carb intake in the near future. I already had started on the car, but the '60 Chrysler from above took it's place on the carlift.
- 1964 Chrysler New Yorker 'Salon' (http://www.carjunkieforums.com/index.php?topic=143.0), will be build for speed. Stroker engine, pushbutton-727 with 3800 stall, 3.91 gears... need I say more... 8)
- On the background I'm building a 496" Stroker engine with 8-71 Roots-supercharger, Indy 440-1 heads and solid rollercam. This engine might end up in the '64 Salon one day... ;)

so far I've tried posting the '69 mach and the '54 belair - both pics too big... upload no workie....

Why yes it is. ;D
We sure had fun that year huh? Even with my smashed up Chevy, thinking about that magical tour makes me smile.

Still have the GTX? How many tran's have you been through since then? ;)
