          I had a open diff. Gremlin X, had L60's on it with a stick shift. Thing always left 2 black marks. Never figured out why.

              My old '69 Firebird would leave 2 black marks for a few feet before going solo. I had the diff cover off once for a fluid change and it was definitely and open carrier. I think it's a chassis setup and enough horsepower. Keep the chassis from unloading the left and pump enough HP through it and it's good.
              Escaped on a technicality.
