Speed Record?

I bought a completely stock car from under a tree in our neighborhood. Never opened the hood but a time or two, just to look. Drove it to Ohio, mashed the gas and went straight and set a record.

That's just not right. It's getting to me, that's just not right. That's.....yeah a helluva lot of fun, but why hasn't somebody beat it already? Somebody with a real car they have time and effort in deserves a record in that class, just sayin'.

i think it is awesome for the very reason that you didnt do nuttin, other than... got to the race track. be proud while it lasts dude, cause you actually DID it.

maybe it will help you if you think about all the land speed peeps that search for that one class, that no body ever messes with, and race way odd ball vehicles, just to get that same paper.

Yeah, I was there, but as time goes on, I really wish somebody would just beat it by ten MPH. I doesn't seem right. If I found a hole in the classes, I sure didn't mean to. I just went to have fun. And it sure was fun going that fast, just once. And that's not even fast. That's what I mean. It's a sitting duck (the speed).

I know what you mean by holes, like engine sizes gouped together. the biggest engine for a range is gonna take it.

If I remember correctly the F is for production cars (Coupe, Sedans, Sport Cars and Pickups).
