Anyone running / built an E4od?

I have seen a couple of E4od's for reasonable recently- very reasonable. I'm thinking about redoing one but not sure what they need to hold something around 500-600 foot pounds or maybe a little more.

It would be for a tow truck / toy. I'm also thinking about converters for them, and thinking about 2200-2500 would be good for what I want the truck to do. Roughly 3800 pounds, 3.55's, 30 inch tire. Probably 5500 redline but I'd like it to shift about 5100 on it's own.

I know they are electronic and I'm guessing I can control the shift points with a tuner like a Moates? I have a factory ECU for one.

If y'all have spent any time with these and have any suggestions / tips / recommendations, that would be great. Thanks as always.

There is forum called Click click racing devoted to the AOD, AODE, E4OD that has sample builds for hard parts and Valve body mods. Lots of good info on the stickied build threads. The best valve body is still the patented Lentech one that applies two clutch paks in 3rd gear. OD torque capacity is still an issue and is limited to 400-450 lb/ft depending on who you talk to.

I think DG mentioned that the Mega Squirt guys were close to having a trans control box/ board for MS1 and maybe MS3.
