HELP! cross referance question, 93 biuck trans, what other if any fit?

my youth pastors 93 buick park ave. had the trans die last night, it has a 3800 v-6 does anyone know if any other year will fit? I know newer cars dont interchange like older non computer rear wheel stuff did, I feel dumb that i cant find this. i found a 1990 trans but have no way to know if it would work.

auto salvage says one year only and all I found in the yards have bad transmissions...... poop!
