    Hey Spidey, 97 S-10 4.3 Random Misfire

    A co-worker has a 97 S-10 4.3L w/P300 random misfire code on cyl #3.
He changed the cap, rotor, plugs, wires, ran injector cleaner through it.
He swapped out cyl 3 plug & wire again, still the same deal...

I thought P300 didnt specify an individual cylinder, but a bank. Do a compression check on the odd side of the motor. could be a bent exhaust valve. It doesnt effect that particular cylinder, but is 1 or 5 allowing compression through and messing with the charge when #3 fires.

Sounds like the poppets are leaking in the injection spider.
