    Curiosity and alternatave fuel

The truck I get some of my parts from is a 78 250 4x4 that has been sitting out in the field here in the mountains for ca. 15 years. When we moved here it had no transmission, the interior was gutted and one rear axle was missing. I know little about it.

I saw an ad for factory natural gas systems offered by GM as an $11,000.00 option. This truck is equipped with what appears to be just that. How or where can I find out more about these systems?

Since I am going to completely dismantle the truck for parts this summer, I could sort all that out for another use if I knew more about it.

There were a lot more aftermarket propane systems sold than natural gas, I think....how about some pictures so we can see what you're talking about?

Is the truck a ford, chevy, or dodge? I think ford and dodge are the only ones who used the 250 nomenclature in 1978

      Let's see if this works:

Okay! It's a Ford 4x4. The engine says 351/400. Haven't looked beyond that.
