I am looking for help...meaning here at work...had a guy walk off the job on monday and I am looking to hire his replacement...so if anyone is in the Indy area looking for a job here is what the position entails...looking for a jack of all trades maintenance guy...needs some skills in the following areas: light plumbing, light electrical, mechanical, PLC or process systems...don't need a master in any of these areas but someone with some experience in an industrial environment would be good...we are non union and an established company that isn't going out of business (been in business since 1887)...we are an industrial laundry that services the Indy, Lafayette, Bloomington, and Terre Haute areas (and all points in between) so we are not the kind of business that will move all the jobs to Mexico...salary based on 45 hours with time and a half over that...overtime almost always available...starting salary is around 550.00 to 600.00 a week depending on prior experience...drug test and background check mandatory (hair test)...must be able to work any shifts...we are a family owned business with a good track record for making money

Our overtime starts at 45 here...I pay a salary based on 45 hours and most of the time guys that work for me work around 42...but like right now we will work overtime...I am salaried with zero overtime pay:'(

My crew used to be strictly salaried with no overtime...I lobbied a few years back and got it set up this way

This sounds like a good opportunity for someone.

In this day and age where all there is consists of McJobs and Wal-Mart door-greeter gigs, someone should snap this up pretty quick.

nahhh they pay more to work on Helicopters... but this job is 13-15 an hour basically... and that's fair money you don't have to give to some Gunbo... pots right...

It really depends on the job. I had a gig what worked a 35 hour week and anything over 35 was OT. Has more to do with going over your normally scheduled hours. Now I'm salaried :'(
