Hey guys,
Anyone know where I can get new plug ends (just the plastic ends, not a pigtail) for the Ford COP's? I snapped 2 of the clips on my Lincoln's when changing the coils and plugs and am now holding the plugs in with zipties.
Thanks,
Buckeye

Napa can order most replacement plugs but you will need to take the coil in with you to match it up

If you're after the "boot", Rock Auto should have them for around $4.

I'm not the best with our parts system - I had one of the guys in the garage look it up - and he can't come up with separate part number listings - just the whole coil assembly.

The boots are fine, the coils themselves are brand new but the clips on the harness broke the internal catches so I had to zip tie them on. I need the new plastic plugs or a pigtail that I can pull apart and get the connectors off of. The wiring is fine, just the plastic catches are broken.

Contact your local Car Quest, if they don't have em,
they can certainly work with the dealers and get them for you.
That's who I've gotten them through.

Actually, they crumble all the time,
did when I was in the Ford shop,
they crumble on many techs all over the place.
Best to replace them with new.

I know what the F he is talking about, I WORK AT A F_ING FORD DEALER AND I CAN GIVE HIM THE PART NUMBER IF HE STILL NEEDS IT FOR THE PIG TAIL .
The tab (clip ) in the injector pigtail is the one that normally breaks. We use wire ties to secure them.
