Um, yeah. It's easy to spot. It says when you edited your posts right at the bottom.
See down there. \/

Re: Editing ones prior posts
If I see something that's junk I'll fix it.... Mine or yours... not being mean at all... just trying to make you look as smart as you are...
My junk is generally mis spelled cause I'm an idiot... and don't know any better... so my chances of catching it during a second look are no better then the first time.... LOL

Re: Editing ones prior posts
Mozilla Firefox has a running spell check as you type. My voice software (J-Say- Dragon Naturally Speaking) in speech to text mode runs words together sometimes, I catch most on the read back. If I type it, JAWS is echoing each letter, and stops if Mozilla detects a misspelled word and suggests a list of possible corrections. But sometimes I still have to edit for that reason.
Other times I will add something relevant to the post or maybe a picture/illustration rather than starting a new thread or a creating redundant response that would require re-reading the original post to understand the relevance of a second one.

Re: Editing ones prior posts
I re-read most of what I type a time or two before I post, and usually edit my response if I find a typo or grammar error I really don't like.Escaped on a technicality.Comment

Re: Editing ones prior posts
I always reread my entries, then still find mistakes. A big part of the problem for me is that I'm a LOUSY typist, and have to look at the keyboard, so the mistakes are UP THERE and I'm looking DOWN HERE. Also, I went thru school at a time when spelling and grammar were a part of the curriculum so I tend to notice all errors - mine and others. So I try to accept as long as I can figure out what was meant. Anyway, even with rereading, I still see a bunch of errors in my stuff later and I'll fix 'em if I do.
