    Near miss for Grumpy Jenkins

A crappy year almost got a whole lot crappier...

Jenkins got carted off to the hospital where the docs found his oil pressure to be low and installed 3 stents in his oil galleries to keep things working properly.

He's coming around quickly and will be with Dave Northrop's team at the Atlana race.

Glad to see one guy actually come through some adversity this year...we've already lost too many.

Good to hear that they got it before it was to late. Stints usually work really well. My best goes out to him.

My stents have done well for me for 5 years and counting. I do EXACTLY what the docs tell me to do and I'm hanging in pretty well. I hope Da Grump has similar success. BTW - in some cases (like mine) you can actually lose some heart function - I'm minus the left outer wall of my heart. It's there but doesn't work. Hope Grumpy has better luck.

If anyone here tell him to get well soon, all of those Monzas we busted knuckles on are in his legacy.

Yikes! Glad to hear he's ok. I wore out that book he wrote back in the 70's.
