Interesting to see then even with the ITBs, you still get fuel reversion at high rpm. For something that looks like it's going into an open wheel racer, I wonder if they'd get any more top end power out of pushing the injectors any higher?Central TEXAS Sleeper

I would expect it from injection. :Originally posted by CTX-SLPRInteresting to see then even with the ITBs, you still get fuel reversion at high rpm. I had to read up on that one...that engine has multi channels to help at slow speed, the illiusion of straight shot in is just that.
here is straight shot in and reversion...and it still does not do it as much.
this vk56 is not special to me..the power number for displacement v8 has been done with a carb, and not at 8800 rpm. Even less....and it is american. Know where it is?Previously boxer3main

I doubt you would know what to expect with an engine like that.Originally posted by boxer3mainI would expect it from injection. :Originally posted by CTX-SLPRInteresting to see then even with the ITBs, you still get fuel reversion at high rpm. For a roadracing application, that's a very good specific output (power per cubic inch). In the *real* world, carbs are almost impossible to tune around the reversion & standoff the engine sees, and it appears to happen during the middle of the pull, leading me to believe there's more induction and exhaust tuning to be done...this vk56 is not special to me..the power number for displacement v8 has been done with a carb, and not at 8800 rpm.
