Re: Urban Mountain Biking.....
That video was done with a Gopro and looks to me like it was in the 30fps setting which may be why it looks choppy and faster than they were actually going although they were still going fast and have to commit to some serious drops and ledges with a few drop gaps. Pretty cool race.Comment

Re: Urban Mountain Biking.....
As a former cyclist (both road and mountain bikes), that took a lot of skill. Some of those jumps with gaps between wooden ramps are scary. Plywood like that can get real slippery and can be hard to read when you are at speed. Really cool video.Comment

I've been mountain biking for years, bouncing off of trees, rocks, ravines, cactus, you name it, and THAT scared the living carp outta me. SKILL & BALLS.Yes, I'm a CarJunkie... How many times would YOU rebuild the same engine before getting a crate motor?

Indeed. I was okay with it, so what's the big deal, not going that fast, downhill, no work to it, etc. Until he got to the ramps. Dang, if you ain't aready going fast enough when you hit that, death or serious injury is imminent. Sailing over the gap between those ramps....Originally posted by Caveman TonyI've been mountain biking for years, bouncing off of trees, rocks, ravines, cactus, you name it, and THAT scared the living carp outta me. And one of the last jumps, at an odd angle off of a narrow ledge, now that's SKILL. And balls, and adrenalin, and all those things.
That's cool. And as stated, the dog never knew what was coming.
