Re: WHATS THE DIFFERENCE IN THESE TWO CARBS
The 670sa is for mild/stock type cams, even an Edelbrock "RPM" type cam is pushing the tuning limit on that carb.
But you can try it if you want.Comment

Re: WHATS THE DIFFERENCE IN THESE TWO CARBS
For one, one flows 20 more cfm thant the other, second one has a Silver finish the other has a Dichromate finish, third one is $6 more than the other.
Saying that if it is a 350 put a 750 cfm carb on it, you'll be much happier.Comment

Re: WHATS THE DIFFERENCE IN THESE TWO CARBS
ran a 650 dp on the 66 corvette ..350 , ran fat , didn't even touch it , no bog
the airflow is one thing , but a 650-750 on a 350 is fine , some tuning required , and I don't mean turning the idle mixture screwsComment

Re: WHATS THE DIFFERENCE IN THESE TWO CARBS
;D 20cfm ;D
Now seriously, both carb bodies look different, especially around the choke horn. So any areo improvements would improve air flow. Different booster venturi would also, even though the primary's look the same. That cannot be said for the secondary's. You can't see them cause they are under the choke plate. The base plate may also be different.
The only difference between the 930 cfm and 1130 cfm Holley 3 barrel's are the 930 has booster venturi in the secondary's and the 1130 has fuel tubes. And it doesn't look like much difference, at least not 200cfm.Comment
