Brian had that Blog item last week about the Vega going together for Nostalgia Pro Stock now this pops up...

The dude from Pro Glass had John Holt build him a Colt and then did it up in Rod Shop colors. Killer!

Nostalga prostock? That sounds like fun, nothing like yankin a lenco! I have yet to read the rules, is there a weight break for small blocks? Too bad that most prostocks went on to become bracket cars and have lost thier identity, lee edwards' roy rogers' camaro is around here somewhere - i've lost track of it and Bunny Burkets' pinto is sitting in a barn not far away. I got one of my old B/A motors and a clutch turbo layin around...

That was probably someone's Funny Car Hauler at one time, there were a bunch of those around at one time but I doubt that too many of them survived, I still think those and the enclosed Oleynik trucks are cool rigs, thanks for the picture!

I drive past Grumpy's old Oleynik hauler every day going to work.....And drool everyday too....

If Grumpy's old Oleynik Hauler could talk it would have some race stories to tell for sure! Here's a picture of one of his earlier haulers that I took at Indy, he was match racing Sox that Sunday and had to change a clutch between rounds.

Dusters, Camaros, Mavericks...all made great Pro Stocks!!

First few years of Pro Stock were still "real-world" ambitions...$$$$$$$$$ ruins racing for mere mortals every time.
