Mopar Guy goes even MORE extreme........

A noted Mopar Restorer with a few high-end Muscle-Car Resto's under His Belt goes out and buys a 1-Owner '70 Valiant 4-Door Sedan...and gives it a Concourse 'Day-1' Restoration. He paid $12-K for the Car,and spent just over $100-K on it :o! The Car,after it's rebuild is still actually worth about $22-K :o. See the March Mopar Action Mag. I alway's wondered when someone would restore a /6(or ANY Straight Six Car...)Car to Museum quality. ~J/W.

Ever since Mopar Muscle did that article on finding "other" bodies (GASP!) the Mopar sheep have gone to the different pastures...the A body being first.
      Editor-at-Large at...well, here, of course!

Actually, the Car recived 99.9 Points in it's class..the HIGHEST in the history of whatever show/judging/event it was in,according to the artical. WHY didin't it recive 100 points? The origional Door Handels didin't come back from the Chrome Platers in time for it's first show,so reproductions were installed beforehand :o. The correct 'Handles are now in place :D. Car is Black with a Blue Interior(just like my own '69 Nova 4-Door...),and actually has 'an 8-3/4 Sure-Grip w/3:23's.....rare for just about ANY Slant-6 Car. ~J/W.

$200 a piece for a reproduction mirror. It wasn't even an original, or NOS, the damn things were repops. Good old junkyard has 'em for $5. Some people. Stuff like that adds up quick I guess.

I handed it to him and said no charge. :

The one I got them from, yeah $5. It was about 7 years ago, but the guy's still probably pretty cheap.
