i put up a set of used Scat rods in the For Sale section.

Dave 'std' inquires about them..wants to purchase...i tell him i cant get them out for a couple of days..he says no prob...he is no hurry (i actually took a bit longer than anticipated-parts are in storage across town)

i send them out..i recieved check in mail today..all in all,prob about 6 weeks..from start till today.

its funny,i didnt really worry about gettin paid on BS....dave W is OK in my book..

not something i usually do..and not ever something i would consider doing on YB.

I like to think that everybody on the boards I freqwent are good folks.
I do search past post and read their post to get a "feel" for the how they relate to others on the board.
I've sold parts that the guy "needed" then turned around and profitted off my kindness,but I guess I got "my" price so to some it's OK.

The only time I got "burned" was on a cell phone a guy needed because his broke, he needed a sprint analog and I had one I was never going to use again.He offered $20 plus shipping,I never got anything.Not even a thanks.

I'm the type that doesn't want to get blasted for being unfair or a cheat so I treat others the same way.

I'll be selling some Engines,Transmissions.....'Driveline' stuff in the new year,but no Cars,Hell,I just bought two more bringin' my new total to 70.......a bit of a milestone for me ;D. ~J/W.

I was sitting here on my ass posting stuff on a computer screen and enjoying every bit of it more than anything I've ever done on a forum when Pumpkin called me out to lunch.

That led to him, and Maxton, and the Power Tour stop in Chattanooga, and the reunion n Kentucky...

I gotta say, I'm thankful for Randal letting Bryan crash on his couch this weekend instead of having to stay in a hotel till he can get his apartment keys. It helps my peace of mind. From the very beginning I've gotten the impression that most people on here are more than willing to help one another out. For this to be the first forum I ever joined, and the only one I'm active on, I think I chose well.
