      Mistake on that first tractor. That's a 215 aluminum Buick - I'd know that engine anywhere. I onnce had 5 of 'em, including the one in my Vega. I headr that there was a conspiracy and the Brits stole the tooling......

        Yep,youre right Dan.But this engine came from a Range Rover :D.They are plentiful over here,and can be found everywhere..thats why they end up in tractors for example..

          Dan, Range Rover bought the tooling and produced that engine for decades. Even as late as the 1990s they were using the same basic design!

            OH MY GOD! Arild!

            Know I know the path to take with my 9N. So, flathead, or 302 Ford? Ooooo, or maybe a turbo 2.3L? 460? YES!

            This will be me pulling in my driveway for sure HA!

                          Actually, I knew that. I was just making a funny. Interesting thing is - the Brits put that motor in a LOT of stuff, including Rover cars and (never sold here, darn it) the MGD, which was a B with the Buick V8. I don't think they were very common even in England.
