    nre 65 chevelle

I never call anyhting incredible... this was incredible. ???

upon hearing the short gears and sbc sound, one would look up at a 60s classic anyway...the surprise is the turbos and tranny. Clever to say the least.

    1400hp on race gas.. :o

so .....to be a real engine builder ...do you have to do your own machine work too ?

I usually have line pressure so cranked up on my tranny , the dash board shakes when it shifts

sounds like a 250 straight six tranny on a sbc 8.
hillbilly way to 10 seconds. ;)

I gotta lot of those strnage scenarios it seems. Seeing real machining is no doubt easy to respect.. building your own always counts on someone elses for most of us.

I still ponder a 9 to 1 anyhting with a cheap turbo setup. cheaper the loss the better. I spotted it on a mustang only to verify my backshelfed thoughts..just cannot go as crazy as a deeper build, or for as long..but great for putting around in.

              :o ... that's pretty f*-in' awesome!

The engine packaging is quite a work of art. That engine bay's been stuffed full of twin turbo goodness.

Not trying to be a PITA here, although the intent of the build was to make a sleeper I don't know if I'd pilot that missile without a 'cage. The new tubular frame is likely many times stronger than the OE stuff but you've got zero side impact or rollover protection in a vehicle that can go 0 to OMFG fast instantly :P
