What's your Driver to Project ratio?

I visited a car friend today, he has a bunch of projects sitting around. Got me to thinking about how some of us always have more ideas than ambition...

Anyways, what's your ratio? driver cars / project cars. Drivers are registered/insured/driveable. Projects are cars you're working on (you've done something to make them better). parts/storing are other cars that litter your yard, but aren't yours, or you haven't and wont fix them.

    Let's see how I'm doing:

    Drivers (including wife's stuff)
    55 chevy
    59 chevy truck
    70 dart
    99 prowler
    08 truck

    Projects:
    57 one ton
    57 suburban
    59 pickup
    61 belair
    75 Travco

    Parts cars/storing for others/misc:
    40 lasalle
    53 jeep
    56 suburban
    68 chevelle
    82 camaro

I guess my actual driver/project ratio is 1. If we add the other crap, it gets worse: 1/2

    How are you doing?

Re: What's your Driver to Project ratio?

I'm clearly sucking hind tit on this scale. Two drivers: 71 Mustang, '03 F-150 Harley truck which may not quite yet qualify but I have raced it (slowly) and bolted on some speed parts.

    No projects, no room. Sad.

Re: What's your Driver to Project ratio?

hmmm-1? seems like 2 to 1? 1 project and 1 "parts cars/stored" for each driver-seems like it should be 2 to 1 ratio

      Drivers:
      05 MINI Cooper S
      06 Acura TSX (wifes)
      2000 chev 2500 Express Van

      projects:
67 Fairlane 427 drag pak clone
      1977 Chev C60/Oleyenik car hauler

      stored/parts cars

      NONE

so what is my ratio? how do you figure it?

        Drivers:
        '77 Skylark
        '72 Centurion
        '67 T-bird
'87 Jeep (does this really count? I just abuse it...)

        Projects:
OHC Pontiac Six engine..... --Should this really count as a full number?

I'm going to go with 8:1
        Escaped on a technicality.

            Drivers: Monte, Mirada.
            Project: Mirada

Guess I'm doing just fine. I agree with Rebel...I have no place to store 'em, so they have to stay running.

I also usually bring up the Driver-to-Project-ratio when talking to friends about cars.

                              My dailydriver joke;
                              '88 Opel

                              Drivers:
                              '57 Chrysler Windsor
                              '60 Chrysler NY
                              '62 Chrysler NY wagon
                              '65 Chrysler 300 convertible

                              Projects:
                              '57 Plymouth Belvedere
                              '59 Dodge Coronet
'64 Chrysler NY salon - (Trying to sell)

Last weekend I pulled in another project in the shape of the '59 Dodge so my ratio dropped a little I guess. I think I'm still pretty much 'on the ball' with my schtuff, eventhough I also have a long list of things I want to do on the drivers.
The biggest projects yet to tackle are the '57 Plymouth and the '59 Dodge.
The Dodge will get done first.
